25 years of Artothek
I was allowed to develop the design for the 25th anniversary of the Artothek on March 13, 2024 in Wiesbaden. The development of the lettering for the name of the anniversary exhibition was a particularly nice challenge.
The principle of the Artothek, based in the Kunsthaus Wiesbaden, is similar to that of a library, except that art lovers can borrow art from artists from the region and hang/display it in their homes for an agreed period of time.
As this principle can also be seen in the title of the anniversary exhibition and is similar to the name Artothek, my design approach was to clarify this connection between the two titles and make it visually visible. This resulted in a transformation of the word Artothek into the words Art to Take.
